Being on the autism spectrum means there is a range of disorders that can exist, and each autistic child has different ones, with different intensity. A child with autism should be treated as an individual with his or her own set of abilities and preferences.
Why do it?
Early intervention is the most effective way to speed up your child’s development and reduce the symptoms of autism. There are many treatments that can help children acquire new skills and overcome a wide variety of developmental challenges.
How can we help you?
We can help you learn more about autism, how to identify your child’s triggers – in terms of what they find challenging, joyful, calming, fearful. Acceptance and consistency is key to parenting them well.
